About The Mission

Our Mission
The Little We Do Inc. exists to restore dignity and confidence to individuals experiencing homelessness and hardship.

Through compassionate outreach, free grooming services, and care bag distributions, we meet people where they are—with respect, empathy, and essentials that make a difference.

We believe small acts of care can spark big change, and we’re committed to building hope one person, one step, and one haircut at a time.

About The Founder

Meet the Founder: Latoya M. Pinnick
Latoya Pinnick is a licensed cosmetologist, creative entrepreneur, and community advocate with a heart for service and a gift for uplift. As the Founder and Executive Director of The Little We Do Inc., she has combined her passion for personal care with her deep belief in human dignity to launch a nonprofit dedicated to supporting individuals experiencing homelessness and transitional hardship.

Latoya is also the Owner and Creative Director of Latoya’s Beauty Spot, where she nurtures confidence one style at a time. Her professional journey—as a beauty specialist, outreach worker, and social work student—has shaped her understanding of what people need when they feel unseen: compassion, confidence, and care.

Currently pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work at the University of Phoenix, Latoya continues to blend grassroots action with structured leadership. Whether crafting bylaws, organizing donation drives, or offering free grooming services to those in need, she brings unmatched energy, clarity, and heart to everything she does.

Through The Little We Do Inc., Latoya is proving that small acts of kindness—like a haircut, a care bag, or a warm conversation—can spark transformation that lasts a lifetime.
